Dean, Dave and Charles recently joined fellow pest control expert Matt and the team from Urban Pest Control for a really enjoyable day out fishing in the Channel. It was brilliant to share some downtime with great friends on the water, as well as exchanging thoughts and ideas on our industry.

All Aboard The Rapid Fisher
We are so lucky to be based on the beautiful South Coast. Heading a little further west from our base in Southampton, we met up with Matt in Poole and embarked The Rapid Fisher, operated by Sea Fishing Poole. Feeling ambitious we joined the skippers Paul and Sandra for the whole day in the hope of landing some big ones!
From Poole Quay we sailed the scenic route, past Bournemouth Pier and Old Harry Rocks. We couldn’t have hoped for more friendly and knowledgeable hosts, and Paul and Sandra were very patient with us as we got to grips with the equipment!
The weather was glorious – not a cloud in the sky. The good luck didn’t stop there as we enjoyed a steady haul throughout the day, including plaice, bream and gunards. We are now hooked, as they say, and can’t wait to get back out fishing soon!
